Grand Chain is a village in Pulaski County, Illinois, United States. The population was 233 at the 2000 census. The village's official name changed from "Grand Chain" to "New Grand Chain" in the 1970s, but the residents refuse to adopt this name and still refuse to refer to it as "New Grand Chain.
